Tanya Herbertson has joined Meyer Vandenberg Lawyers as their newest partner, bringing a team of lawyers with extensive experience in wills and estates with her.

Tanya and her team will expand Meyer Vandenberg’s existing wills and estates team to offer expertise in estate planning, trusts, enduring power of attorney, elder law and estate litigation.

Tanya began her career as a personal injury lawyer and has spent over a decade specialising in estate law. Tanya has particular expertise in estate litigation and regularly acts in court proceedings regarding contested wills and family provision claims. She has been named a Doyle’s Guide recommended lawyer many times and says she is excited to join the partners at Meyer Vandenberg.

“Personality-wise, we’re a great fit. I’m very much a people person. I love to sit down with my clients and hear their story, then work out strategically what we need to do,” Tanya said.

“I’ll be heading up estate planning, wills, power of attorney and estate litigation. Meyer Vandenberg has an existing estate litigation team, so our team will be a great resource and our extensive experience will allow us to hit the ground running.”

Meyer Vandenberg chairman Archie Tsirimokos said Tanya’s addition to the team is a huge boost for the firm. “Meyer Vandenberg has already built an enviable reputation in estate planning litigation and the appointment of Tanya and her team will further position our firm as the undisputed leader in this space,” Archie said.
