In just three years, Belle Property Kingston has grown from four staff to 26. It’s not just their growth that’s impressive, it’s their performance.

While still a relatively young franchise, Belle Property Kingston won two awards at the National Belle Awards held recently in Sydney.

Out of 80 offices nationwide, Belle Property Kingston placed second for the total number of sales in the last financial year and sixth in overall office performance. The company’s commercial division also picked up a top gong – Commercial Managing Director’s Choice Awards.

“It’s been a big three years, but rewarding every step of the way,” says one of the company’s co-principals, Dan McAlpine.

“Placing second is especially big given this award is granted by the Belle Property Group based on actual performance data, not a puffed-up written submission we write ourselves about ourselves. It really counts. It’s a true recognition of our actual performance.”

Belle Property Kingston placed second against another franchise that has been part of the network for about eight years. Not only was that franchise older, and therefore more experienced, it had more staff during the award period.

“We’re punching above our weight,” says Dan. “Our team has no doubt we’ll make it to number one in next year’s awards.”

So what’s the secret to success?

Dan says the biggest factor is that Belle Property Kingston has a team of superstars but without a negative superstar mentality.

“Everyone contributes and supports each other for our clients,” says Dan. “Our culture doesn’t have room for unhealthy competition. We have the ultimate team approach.”

Belle Property Kingston’s open database system supports the high-achieving team.

“Many real estate agencies don’t have such a system,” says Dan. “Our open database system means we can track our connections with clients across all touchpoints. They can meet one agent at an open house one morning and another agent at another property that afternoon. We track this so we can service clients better.”

The boutique franchise sells right across Canberra and has built a reputation for listing and selling higher-end real estate, and providing a higher-end experience.

The powerhouse sales and property expert team in the Kingston franchise is led by Dan and co-principals Louise Harget and Richard Davies, who specialise in innovative marketing strategies.

Belle Property Kingston is no stranger to awards. It also picked up second place nationally for its number of transactions in 2018.

“It’s rewarding to be recognised for our efforts,” says Dan. “Real estate is a tough gig. The hours are long. We work weekends. It’s fast-paced and competitive. Our staff are determined to continue to knuckle down and work hard to win even bigger next year.”

Belle Property has recently opened an office in Queanbeyan, with Belle Property Queanbeyan also adopting a community and customer-first approach.

“We’re setting a new standard to real estate across sales and property management in the Queanbeyan region,” says Dan. “This market has become a haven for young families and couples looking for the benefits of a country lifestyle with the convenience of inner-city living, and our team is there to meet their needs.”
